  • Job Summary

The QA Inspector ensures that the quality of the products received from suppliers conforms to the applicable quality control standards by implementing the specified quality control protocols. He shall also ensure the quality of the stocks that are previously delivered to customers are of acceptable quality, prior to being tagged as saleable. He shall also be responsible for implementing other control measures in various stages of stock handling within the company premises.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Inspection

  • Ensure that the quality of trade products received from suppliers, and those returned by/from the customers pass the set quality control standards before endorsing as saleable stock;

  • Carry out QA inspections on designated company premises to ensure that quality requirements on proper storage and handling of trade products are being implemented;

  • Prepare and properly communicate relevant reports related to the QC inspections conducted;

  • Ensure and maintain that all related quality assurance logs, records, procedures, and other documentation are up to date;

  • Conduct required witnessing and verification activities related to the handling of trade returns

  • Monitor temperature and humidity measurements and prepare monthly update on resulting data analysis and applicable recommendations;

  • Contribute to carrying out process reviews and time and motion studies to streamline processes, and create valuable improvements in resource utilization, towards increased quality and productivity;

  • Respond promptly to QA-related opportunities for improvement assigned through DIMS, and carry out needed corrective actions;

  • Participate in company-wide continuous improvement strategies, including project and process monitoring activities;

  • Conduct GDSP Ticketing to ensure the activities inside the warehouse is complying with the regulations of the Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Good Storage Practices (GSP);

Others

  • Support the QMRA Manager in developing programs, policies and procedures relative to the improvement of the Department and its services;

  • Abide by the company rules and regulations implemented with regards to policies and procedures, safety and health, quality management system, and Employee's Handbook; and

  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by the QMRA Manager and Quality Manager.

Educational Requirements

  • College graduate

Competency

  • Has experience as Quality Assurance Inspector

  • Experience in quality Assurance of a manufacturing or distribution company

Essentials

  • Familiarity in various MS office applications

  • Knowledgeable in problem-solving tools

  • Good communication and organization skills

  • Exhibits high standards.

Desirable

  • Able to work with minimal supervision
