Position Summary:

The Program and Support Staff will assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating interactive, educational, and creative programs for children at the Playhouse. Activities include baking, gardening, singing, arts and crafts, storytelling, and other hands-on experiences. The staff ensures a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment that encourages children's learning, creativity, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Delivery and Instruction

  • Support or lead daily children's activities such as baking, gardening, music/singing, art, and other themed classes.
  • Provide hands-on guidance, ensuring safety and participation for all children.
  • Encourage curiosity, creativity, and teamwork through engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
  • Assist in setting up and cleaning up program spaces and materials before and after activities.
  • Adapt lessons for different age groups and learning styles.

Child Supervision and Safety

  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive atmosphere in all program areas.
  • Supervise children closely during play and activities to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to any emergencies or conflicts.
  • Follow all health, safety, and cleanliness protocols (including food safety for baking activities).

Program Support and Administration

  • Prepare materials and supplies for daily programs and classes.
  • Assist with inventory management and organization of supplies.
  • Greet parents and children, providing excellent customer service and communication.
  • Support registration, attendance tracking, and other administrative tasks.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and event support as needed.

Teamwork and Collaboration

  • Work cooperatively with instructors, volunteers, and leadership staff.
  • Contribute creative ideas for improving programs and activities.
  • Model positive behavior and uphold the mission and values of the Playhouse.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
