People Benefits and Engagement Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented People Benefits and Engagement Associate to join our team in the Philippines. The role will focus on managing the organization's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and employee satisfaction.
What you'll do
Government Mandated Benefits Administration
- Responsible for the administration and implementation of all government and company-initiated benefits
- Registers new employees with SSS, HDMF, Philhealth and ensures timely posting of Employee and Employer's contributions
- Liaise with government agencies to ensure statutory compliance
- Assists in the filing and processing of government-related benefits for SSS, Philhealth, HDMF, and others
- Tracking and recording of SSS benefits availment and entitlement for SSS reimbursement.
- Review and validate timekeeping records for payroll processing
- Monitor and coordinate the change of employment status requests.
- Assists in the preparation of employment contracts, movement forms and other related notices.
- Conducts New Hire Orientation
- Update Company Rules & Regulations memos related to C&B policies
Collaborative partnership in designing, implementing and executing of employee engagement programs:
- Collaborate in designing and implementing employee engagement programs and initiatives that promote a positive work culture and align with our company's culture and values.
- Assists in developing and implementing employee engagement programs to foster work-life balance and enhance overall well-being.
- Use data and measurement to track the value of all engagement activities.
- Plan and execute engagement activities aligned with organizational goals.
- Coordinate resources and logistics for smooth event execution.
- Collaborate with managers and other departments to promote employee recognition and appreciation.
- Monitor activity success and adjust strategies as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in employee engagement, bringing innovative ideas to the table
Employee Participation and Feedback:
- Encourage employee participation in events and gather feedback.
- Analyze survey participation rates to gauge engagement levels.
- Conduct regular employee surveys and focus groups to gather feedback and continuously improve our employee engagement programs.
Administrative Tasks
- Process and prepare the 201 files and contract/appointment of newly hired employees
- Take charge of HR / Admin Records Management, File Maintenance System & Custodianship (201 files, Office Documents, Records & Correspondences etc.)
- Record and handle incoming and outgoing couriers (correspondences, documents)
- Support the People team with various administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, inventory of supplies, and managing correspondence.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and systems.
- Assist with internal and external HR audits.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor of Science in Psychology Graduate or any Behavioral Science or Management Course
- At least one year of experience in the capacity of an HR Associate with experience handling compensation and benefits
- Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills, Basic knowledge in Human Resources Management processes, Flexibility in working schedule/rotating schedule
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
