About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Collection Associate to join our Wheeltek Group of Companies - Head Office in Dagupan City, Pangasinan. As a Collection Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable and collections, ensuring the timely processing of payments and maintaining strong customer relationships. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for career growth within our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively follow up with customers to ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Negotiate payment plans and arrangements with customers to resolve outstanding balances
  • Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and collection activities
  • Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to identify and resolve payment-related issues
  • Assist in the preparation of collection reports and other financial documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service and manage customer inquiries and complaints related to billing and collections
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the collections function

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with customers
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve payment-related issues
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Understanding of credit and collections policies and procedures
