Job Description

  • Watchkeeping: Maintaining a safe and efficient watch in the engine room, monitoring engine performance and responding to any issues.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance and repairs on the ship's auxiliary engines, generators, pumps, and other vital systems.
  • Assistance: Assisting the second engineer with tasks such as overhauling injectors, maintaining emergency equipment, and managing the planned maintenance system.
  • Safety: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures within the engine room.

Skills and Qualifications:
