About the role

Ascendion is seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex software projects. In this full-time, office-based role in Makati City, Metro Manila, you will play a critical part in ensuring our software projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver software projects from concept to completion
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies to keep projects on track
  • Facilitate regular status meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and business analysts to ensure requirements are met
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Document and share lessons learned to continuously improve project management processes

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Project Manager or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate complex projects
  • Proficient in project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus
