Job Summary

The Corporate Legal Affairs (Paralegal) will provide legal and administrative support to the Legal Department, with a strong focus on construction-related contracts, compliance, and corporate documentation. The role ensures that the company's legal matters are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, review, and filing of construction-related contracts, agreements, and legal documents
  • Support corporate legal affairs including board resolutions, SEC filings, licenses, and permits
  • Coordinate with internal departments, external counsel, contractors, and government agencies
  • Maintain and organize legal records, contracts, and case files
  • Monitor compliance with local laws, construction regulations, and corporate governance requirements
  • Assist in handling disputes, claims, and litigation support related to construction projects
  • Track contract deadlines, renewals, and legal deliverables
  • Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings for management review

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Law, or related field
  • At least 2–3 years of paralegal or corporate legal experience, preferably in the construction industry
  • Familiarity with construction contracts (e.g., subcontract agreements, supplier contracts, NDAs)
  • Knowledge of Philippine corporate laws, labor laws, and construction-related regulations
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to handle confidential information

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with law firms or in-house legal teams for construction companies
  • Background in contract management and compliance monitoring
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
