EDUCATION: Licensed Mechanical Engineer.

EXPERIENCE: At least three (3) years of experience in the construction industry. Applicant must have the ability to work efficiently in teams, having extensive knowledge on Mechanical design and estimate. He/She must be detail-oriented, highly observes accuracy and consistency, and with high levels of initiative and willingness to learn M&E trades.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bid (Getting the Job)

1.) Specialized in Mechanical System and provides technical & commercial guidance to his/her colleagues

2.) Review and Study Bid Documents including Employer's Requirement, Technical Specifications, and Bid Plans for Mechanical System to mitigate possible risk in Estimate & Cost activities

3.) Prepares In-house Quantity & Cost for Projects under Bidding

4.) Prepares Technical & Commercial Evaluation for Mechanical Suppliers & Subcontractors

5.) Prepares Mechanical Submittals for Bid Submission

6.) Provides assistance in Post-bid Activities

7.) Coordinates with other Trades related to Mechanical System

8.) Prepares Request for Quotations to Mechanical Suppliers & Subcontractors

9.) Prepares Request for Information to Mechanical Designers/ Clients

10.) Reconciliation with Mechanical Subcontractors

Operation (Doing the Job)

10.) Highlights any needed changes to the design.

11.) Highlight for action by DMCI Procurement any potential delays or actual delays of materials and equipment necessary for construction according to the program.

12.) Supervise the installation of all Mechanical components/equipment that are relevant to the system.

13.) The supervision includes also the checking of the various systems including the functionality system wise.

15.) Report to Site Manager any variation on the erection works, delay and study with subcontractor & management a recovery plan.

16.) Reports progress on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Prepares required construction reports as per the agreed format.

17.) Analyses non-conformity notices and recommends actions to ensure the most effective solution is implemented, contractually, technically, cost wise and program.

18.) Assist the commissioning team during start-up of the systems, including site modification and etc.
