Role: Insurance Verification Specialist
Compensation: Competitive Basic Salary
Benefits: HMO plus 2 Free Dependents, P1,500 Rice Allowance, Night Differential (If applicable).
Work Schedule: 5-day work week, 2:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m. Philippine time
Work Setup: WFH
Responsibilities:
- Verify all commercial, workers compensation, accident, and state program coverage for patients.
- Determine patient financial responsibility and communicate status to financial counselors, patients, or families.
- Obtain pre-certification numbers from physician offices as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of facility insurance contracts and payment schedules.
- Enter insurance information into the system accurately and promptly.
- Ensure patient financial counselors are informed of copayments, deductibles, or coverage limitations.
- Follow federal, state, and facility guidelines to maintain compliance with insurance verification procedures.
- Support other administrative as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; business office training preferred.
- Strong typing, computer, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Insurance verification or ASC experience preferred.
- Strong ethical standards and professionalism.
Skills & Attributes:
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Ability to maintain professionalism with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
