Responsibilities:

  • Documentation Preparation: Preparing and reviewing import documents (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading) and ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
  • Customs Declaration: Preparing and submitting customs declarations to the Bureau of Customs (BOC).
  • Compliance: Ensuring all import activities comply with BOC regulations and other relevant laws and procedures.
  • Tariff Classification: Accurately classifying goods for tariff purposes.
  • Duty and Tax Calculation: Calculating and assisting in the payment of applicable duties and taxes.
  • Coordination: Coordinating with internal teams, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth import operations.
  • Monitoring: Monitoring the status of shipments and following up on any issues that may cause delays.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of all import transactions and documentation.
  • Communication: Effectively communicating with internal and external parties regarding import processes, documentation, and potential issues.
