Qualifications:

  • Four-year college/university degree
  • At least 8-10 years hands on experience in General Affairs area, Occupational Health & Safety Management and Security Management, preferably in financial/banking industry
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, problem solving skills and demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities/capabilities.
  • Proficient in local regulations relating to General Affairs, Occupational Health & Safety and knowledgeable in BSP regulations related to Security Management.
  • Good working knowledge of Windows and MS Office applications

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline process.
  • Manages day-to-day operations within respective unit and ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations.
  • Organize and supervise other office activities.
  • Develop and administer the company's Security Program and Health & Safety Program
  • Monitor/supervise negotiation with new and existing suppliers resulting in economic savings.
  • Works in coordination with other officers of other departments to achieve team's and/or Department's target.
  • Ensure harmonious working relationship with law enforcement agencies, regulatory agencies and security associations, including but not limited to BSP, PNP and other law enforcement organizations.
  • Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure safekeeping of important company documents
  • Manage outsourcing operations of the branch in coordination with the relevant staff-in-charge of outsourcing.
  • Manage contracts entered into with external parties related to the department and ensure that these are renewed in a timely manner.
  • Handle the overall supervision and control of the company's security and assist in the investigation of fraud and other relevant cases involving the company, its clients and its employees.
  • Ensure the maintenance of effective security control systems for company-wide observance.
  • Participate in safety inspections, investigations and audits concerning health and safety.
  • Performs other tasks that supervising officer may assign from time to time.
