Job Summary:

The Brand Development Specialist position is responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for new brands. Execute day-to-day marketing programs and activities so that they meet the organization's short and long-term business objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Product Specialist:

● Implement the assigned marketing activities/campaigns across channels (ETC, OTC, and

modern trade)

o Develop campaigns tailored to the local market needs.

o Ensure seamless execution of promotions and advertisements.

● Develop and execute the price strategy including discount and trade promotion.

o Analyze competitors' pricing models.

o Propose attractive promotions to boost sales and brand visibility.

● Develop and manage promotional materials such as gimmick, brochure, poster, standee,

and POS materials.

o Ensure all materials align with the brand's identity.

o Coordinate with local suppliers for timely production and distribution.

● Conduct surveys regularly to understand customer insights and seek new brand

opportunities.

o Identify market gaps and propose innovative product ideas.

o Use data to refine marketing strategies.

● Assist Business Unit Manager (BUM) to develop the promotional strategy and strong

business plan.

o Provide market insights and competitor analyses.

o Support in setting realistic and achievable goals.

● Work as a brand's representative to deliver key messages and build brand image through

consulting, product presentation, external training, and online activities.

o Host webinars and training sessions for key stakeholders.

o Actively engage with the community to build brand trust.

● Build relationships with KOLs including doctors and dermatology experts. Leverage them

for brand endorsement based on digital platforms.

o Identify and onboard relevant influencers and experts.

o Monitor the impact of KOL campaigns and provide reports.

● Liaise with other functions to ensure that marketing activities are integrated with other

parts of the business, align with the overall BU objectives, comply with regulatory/ legal/

company standards and policies.

o Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and other departments for campaign alignment.

o Maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards.

● Complete the internal processes related to marketing activities such as marketing

monthly reports, budget tracking, salesforce training. Ensure all activities are constantly

and fully updated to BUM and sufficiently post-assessed.

o Provide detailed reports on campaign performance and ROI.

o Track expenses to stay within the allocated budget.

● Collaborate closely with teams in Vietnam to align strategies and gain insights that enhance the effectiveness of local campaigns in the Philippines.

Job Qualifications:

  • Completed a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Pharmacy or similar
  • Relevant 1 year experience in brand development, marketing research, brand marketing
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good communication, presentation, networking and influencing skills
  • Innovative and creative thinking
  • Strong ability to execute marketing activities and manage projects
  • Deep understanding of cosmetics, ingredients, formulations, skin care procedures and routine
  • Think Strategically - Think and plan broadly and long term to inspire excellence in execution.
  • Consumer Focus – Understand insights, key drivers, and barriers of key stakeholders and able to leverage such understanding into building impactful marketing plan and campaigns.
