Summary

Responsible to handle full spectrum of accounting and financial management functions to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in line with Philippine regulations.

Responsibilities :

General Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records, ledgers, and journals.
  • Prepare adjusting entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
  • Provide management with financial analysis for decision-making.

Sales Reporting

  • Create Sales Orders (SO) and maintain SO Booking Reports
  • Issue Sales Invoice, prepare Sales Reports and follow-up with Customers for collections

Tax Compliance

  • Manage preparation and filing of BIR tax returns (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax).
  • Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).

Payroll & Employee Benefits

  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate computation of salaries, benefits, and deductions.
  • Handle government contributions and reporting obligations.

Cash Flow & Treasury

  • Monitor company cash flow, bank balances, and disbursements.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.

Audit & Compliance

  • Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies.
  • Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.

Other Duties

  • Ad hoc assignments.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting/audit experience, ideally in a small-to-medium enterprise (SME) or audit firms
  • Hands-on experience with BIR tax compliance (VAT, withholding tax, income tax).
  • Familiarity with payroll computation and government reporting (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP B1, or similar) and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities in a lean setup.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and sense of accountability.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to liaise effectively with management, external auditors, banks, and government agencies.
