The Opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior role within Allegro MicroSystems' Finance team, where you will be a key player in managing the company's capital expenditures and fixed assets. You will have a direct impact on our financial integrity by overseeing the entire lifecycle of our assets, from budget planning to disposal. This position offers broad exposure across the company, requiring close collaboration with various departments and providing a platform to drive process improvements. If you are a detail-oriented finance professional with leadership potential and a passion for financial controls, this role will allow you to make a significant contribution to a leading global semiconductor company.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):

As the Senior Accountant for Fixed Assets, you will manage both the strategic and operational aspects of the company's tangible assets. Your primary responsibilities will include Capital Expenditure Management, where you will be involved in budget planning, tracking project status, and forecasting for the Treasury section. You will also lead all Fixed Asset Management activities, such as monitoring acquisitions and disposals, capitalizing assets in Oracle, performing quarterly impairment reviews, and conducting the annual physical inventory. A key part of your role will be to ensure compliance and accuracy by reviewing policies and procedures, while also actively formulating and recommending improvements to the fixed asset system and internal controls. Your work will require close coordination with other departments to support the overall goals of the company.

Who You Are (Qualifications/Desired Skills):

  • Education & Experience:
  • You have a degree in Accountancy or Finance, with a CPA license being an advantage.
  • You bring at least 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting or Finance, including at least 1 year specifically in fixed asset management.
  • Functional Competencies:
  • You possess a thorough working knowledge of the entire finance function, including Philippine local finance, accounting, and tax laws.
  • You are keen on details and have the ability to explain them clearly.
  • You have a proven ability to establish and execute financial controls and can manage tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
  • You can assess team success, investigate problems to find sound solutions, and conduct performance reviews.
  • You excel at building collaboration with other departments.
