Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create 2D and 3D drawings, models, and layouts using CAD software.
  • Interpret technical specifications, sketches, and design requirements from engineers or architects.
  • Revise and update designs based on feedback and project needs.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and production teams to finalize designs.
  • Assist in design presentations and provide technical input when needed.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and precision of all drawings.
  • Stay updated on the latest CAD software, tools, and drafting techniques.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a CAD Designer, Draftsman, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design.
  • Knowledge of engineering/architectural standards and practices.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
