OSP Design Engineer

  1. Develop high level preliminary route design and detailed OSP plans and specifications,

including cable routing, splice locations, link budgets and equipment placement for FTTH

networks;

  1. Conduct site surveys to assess the suitability of proposed routes and identify potential

challenges;

  1. Collaborate with internal project team and customer engineering team for design review;

  2. Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety

protocols;

  1. Prepare material requirements and estimates (BOM/BOQ) and other supporting

documentation required for permitting, construction, and record keeping

  1. Manage subcon partners to deliver survey, design and closeout documentation targets

  2. Perform analysis for aerial routes, prepare and review pole attachment applications;

  3. Understand permitting requirements and ensure all engineering is completed early for

long lead time permits to ensure construction is not delayed;

  1. Maintain accurate records of OSP infrastructure using GIS (Geographic Information

Systems), CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software or spreadsheets including the quantity

of laid cables, quantity of loop holders, quantity of newly installed poles, quantity of

grounding systems, quantity of new ODB equipment, and construction routes, etc. As

preparation for closeout documentation.

  1. Create weekly reports and update management on status and issues;

  2. Train subcontractors & ZTE engineers for OSP project survey and design, specs and

work flows;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php48,900.00 per month
