DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly inventory processes and counts are conducted properly and on a timely basis
  • Perform inventory reconciliations or audits inventory reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis. These reconciliations also will be done as needed based on the cycle count program or to validate cost of inventory.
  • Validate daily movement of railcar inventories from vendor shipment to outbound shipments to customers
  • Critically observe production activities, learning the process flow and help develop documented procedures to fully structure the activities observed
  • Support new product costing or changes to current costing
  • Continuously improve production processes, equipment, and performance; and submit proposals, including recommendations that will influence productivity, efficiency standards, and labor utilization
  • Combine and simplify existing and new systems for production data collection; develops procedures to execute collection, train pertinent users, and audits/retains until compliance is achieved
  • Track and adjust inventory data of packaging materials and finished product in Adage and Whistle
  • Serve as a member of the QA product recall team as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering or any related field
  • With experience in the same field but fresh graduates are welcome
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good oral and written communications
  • Highly skilled in documentations and developments
