About the role

As an Accountant at JJED PHILS INC.', you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring accurate reporting. This full-time position is based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila and will involve a range of responsibilities within the company's financial accounting and reporting function.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Providing financial information and analysis to management as required
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant is a requirement
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and data analysis
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct
