About the role

Hail Transport Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly capable Accountant to join our growing team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and stability of our organisation. This is a full-time position based in our Mandaluyong City office.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Manage general ledger accounting, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Provide support in the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferably CPA
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar Accountant role, preferably in the transport or logistics industry
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial management tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and reporting standards
