  • Utilize various techniques and tools (e.g., visual supports, AAC devices, play-based therapy) to support language development.
  • Work with students on developing skills for communication, both verbal and non-verbal, through structured interventions and naturalistic teaching.
  • Create individualized therapy programs tailored to each student's needs, addressing areas such as speech production, language comprehension, social communication, fluency, voice, and more.
  • Offer training and resources to parents and educators to facilitate the implementation of strategies that support students both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, assessments, interventions, and required paperwork (e.g., IETPs, progress reports).
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices, new therapeutic techniques, and educational trends.
