Occupational Therapist (OT) Inpatient - Per Diem (8hr shift)

Schedule requirement: 2 - weekend shifts per month and 2 holidays per year

Pay Rate $65.50

Responsibilities

Duties

  • Evaluates all assigned patients, develops, and implements treatment plans in accordance with the patient's need and physician direction 
  • Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services
  • Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities
  • Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self
  • Participates in discharge planning including placement, patient and family education, and adaptive equipment
  • Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient
Qualifications

 Minimum Qualifications

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
  • Minimum 2 years acute care or Inpatient Rehabilitation experience required
  • Certified BLS from the American Heart Association

POETS are completed as part of the onboarding process-to be completed before an employee's first day of work.
