About the Role

We are looking for a part-time Draftsperson to support an Australian Metal Sheet Fabrication Company. This is a work-from-home opportunity, ideal for someone with strong technical drawing skills who enjoys precision and flexibility. You'll be responsible for creating and updating detailed fabrication drawings using AutoCAD or Fusion 360.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and revise technical drawings for metal sheet fabrication projects.
  • Interpret design concepts and convert them into precise technical plans.
  • Collaborate with the client and production team to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.
  • Maintain drawing standards and organised documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in drafting for metal fabrication or related industries.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Fusion 360 (experience with both is highly regarded).
  • Solid understanding of sheet metal design and fabrication principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Reliable computer setup and internet connection for remote work.
