Working in smaller, focused pods, we tackle innovative projects in Amazon competitive intelligence with a scrappy mindset. Day in the life of a Senior Solution Engineer:

• Build data solutions from a provided specification
• QA a custom dataset that you've built for a customer
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams as needed to resolve questions; troubleshoot an anomaly in the data a customer is receiving
• Collaborate with with engineering and data teams to create delivery pipelines for custom data
• Create automated queries, reports, and internal dashboards to illustrate the value of data for sales enablement
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Customer Support, and Professional Services to manage customer timelines and support onboarding processes
• Support the creation of onboarding guides, FAQs, queries, and other materials to accelerate customer enablement
• Support PM and TAM with customer calls on data
• Connect with the team through a combination of scrum meetings and Slack updates

Who you are:

• You bring 3 years of working with customers to integrate and leverage data.
• You bring 5 years of data experience doing data integration and analysis.
• You can effectively manage multiple commitments and timelines and set appropriate expectations with all stakeholders.
• You have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving issues in data pipelines and systems.
• You possess strong programming skills in SQL and Python.
• You take ownership and accountability of the quality of your work.
• You keep the customer top of mind in everything you do.

You understand the importance of supporting data solutions that meet business needs and provide actionable insights for our customers.

• You have strong attention to detail and quality.

You take pride in the quality of your work.

• You are an effective communicator and can collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand data requirements, and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• You champion the #excellence principle - you aren't content and old an ever-escalating level of expectations.

• Experience in e-commerce

Must Have Technical Skills:

• Expertise in SQL for data analysis
• Experience with Python for data analysis and automation
• Experience building and troubleshooting ETL and data pipelines
• Experience working with Data Lakes (S3/Glue preferred)
• Experience with modern data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery
• Experience with reporting infrastructure (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc)
• Experience with common data integration patterns and systems (FTP, S3, Snowflake, GCP Filestore, Azure Blog Storage)
• Experience with a BI Tool (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc)Seniority level
