Staff Management & Mentorship

• Team Leadership: Supervise and guide your finance team through the full accounting cycle, providing hands-on mentorship to develop their skills and professional growth.

Financial Systems & Process Mastery

• System Ownership: Serve as the primary subject matter expert by gaining an in-depth understanding of the client's financial systems, reporting tools, and operational workflows.

• Documentation & Standardization: Maintain thorough documentation and standardization of all financial processes, including journal entries and client reporting.

Reporting & Client Relations

• Reporting Oversight: Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial data and reports.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with the team, cross-functional departments, and stakeholders, showcasing leadership in regular weekly and monthly meetings.
• Client Financials: Oversee the maintenance of client financials, guaranteeing they are complete, accurate, and readily available for review.
• Client Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships and resolving issues effectively.
• Client Report Assistance: Conduct financial analysis and develop recommendations for client reports, adapting to specific reporting requirements.

Technical Expertise

• Accounting & Financial Analysis: Possess a strong grasp of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards (e.g., PFRS, PAS).
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in financial accounting software and Microsoft systems, especially Excel, and be able to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

• Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions and reports.

Job Description:

• System & Process Integration: Quickly developing a comprehensive understanding of the current financial systems and operational workflows. This includes mastering client's financials and ensuring their accuracy and availability.
• Team Integration & Mentorship: Integrating into the team and beginning to provide effective supervision and mentorship to staff, helping them navigate the full accounting cycle and grow professionally.
• Reporting & Quality Control: Taking ownership of the timely preparation and delivery of financial reports, demonstrating full attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.

Qualifications:

• Education and Certification: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of relevant finance or accounting experience is required, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory or leadership role that includes mentorship.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, XERO) is essential.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Must possess excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial operations.
• Communication & Leadership: Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills and a proven record of leading and inspiring a team.
