Job Description

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building solution architectures tailored to client business needs. You will work closely with both customers and internal teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions, ensuring smooth project delivery. Part of your role will also involve providing technical expertise in pre-sales engagements, supporting account managers with value-driven proposals and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to gather, review, and analyze business and technical requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design and develop tailored solution architectures.
  • Serve as a trusted technical consultant to clients and account teams.
  • Lead scoping sessions to evaluate customer requirements.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOM), High-Level Designs (HLD), Statements of Work (SOW), and supporting write-ups.
  • Prepare and submit technical proposals for bids, including compliance sheets, annexes, and related documents.
  • Deliver client-facing presentations on solution designs, proposals, and product portfolios.
  • Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) demonstrations to validate solution capabilities.
  • Perform site surveys to collect technical data needed for solution development.
  • Pursue continuous learning, training, and certifications as required by the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of pre-sales experience with Cisco or other IT vendors.
  • Must hold at least one recognized IT certification in any of the following areas:
  • Networking – Cisco (CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE)
  • Security – Fortinet, Checkpoint, Trend Micro, CompTIA, ISC²
  • Data Center – VMware, Nutanix, Dell, HP
  • Cloud – Microsoft Azure, AWS
  • Excellent command of English with strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
