Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, lead, and motivate production operators and technicians in daily operations.
  • Plan and monitor production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and electronics industry requirements (e.g., ESD controls, ISO standards).
  • Monitor machine/equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs.
  • Train and coach operators on proper assembly techniques, safety practices, and quality requirements.
  • Track production metrics (output, efficiency, rejects) and prepare daily/weekly reports.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce defects.
  • Ensure proper handling of electronic components and compliance with ESD and safety guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to resolve issues affecting production.
  • Enforce company policies and maintain discipline within the production team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • With at least 2–3 years supervisory experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics assembly processes, quality standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with ERP or production tracking systems.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, and weekends if required.
