The PMO Head is responsible for overseeing the project management office, ensuring the successful execution of projects and programs within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing project management standards, methodologies, and best practices. The PMO Head collaborates with various departments to align project goals with the organization's strategic objectives. Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead the PMO, including defining its structure, processes, and governance.
  • Develop and implement project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Oversee the portfolio of projects and programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Provide guidance and support to project managers and teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and tools.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, risks, and issues to senior management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project management function.
  • Ensure alignment of project goals with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communication to ensure project alignment and support.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools such as Microsoft Project
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to different stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage expectations and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Proactive approach to addressing challenges and mitigating risks.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, Jira, Trello).
  • Understanding of workforce management tools and systems.
  • Ability to manage and facilitate organizational change.
  • Experience in implementing process improvements and best practices.
  • Open to learning new skills and approaches.
  • Meticulous in monitoring project details and ensuring accuracy.
  • Ensures all documentation and reports are precise and comprehensive.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in ECE, CoE, CS, Information Technology or related fields
  • Must have advanced certifications in their area of expertise
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must have very good listening, writing and speaking skills
  • Ability to work effectively with different departments, different partners and customers
  • Has solid experience in handling teams and projects
  • Must have PMP certification
