We focus on paid advertising, website development, and digital marketing coaching, serving clients throughout Australia with a particular focus on the Fraser Coast region.

Role Overview

We're seeking a talented Digital Creative Designer to join our growing team and take ownership of creating high-converting ad creatives for both our clients and our own marketing campaigns. This role is perfect for someone who understands the intersection of design and performance marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Development

- Design static and animated creatives for Facebook/Instagram advertising campaigns

- Create Google Ads visuals including display ads, YouTube thumbnails, and shopping ad graphics

- Develop brand-consistent marketing materials across multiple client accounts

- Design promotional assets for From Scratch Digital's own marketing initiatives

Performance-Focused Design

- A/B test creative variations to optimize conversion rates

- Analyze creative performance data and iterate designs based on results

- Stay current with platform-specific ad formats and best practices

- Create thumb-stopping creatives that drive engagement and conversions

Brand Management

- Adapt designs to match diverse client brand guidelines and aesthetics

- Maintain visual consistency across all client touchpoints

- Develop creative templates and systems for efficient workflow

Collaboration & Communication

- Work closely with our digital marketing coordinator on campaign strategy

- Participate in client briefings and creative reviews

- Provide creative input during campaign planning sessions

Essential Requirements

Technical Skills

- Advanced proficiency in Canva Pro (primary design tool)

- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)

- Video editing and motion graphics capabilities

- Understanding of Facebook/Instagram and Google Ads specifications

Experience & Knowledge

- 2+ years experience creating digital advertising creatives

- Portfolio demonstrating conversion-focused design work

- Understanding of direct response marketing principles

- Experience working with multiple brand identities simultaneously

Personal Attributes

- Strong attention to detail and brand consistency

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

- Data-driven mindset with focus on performance metrics

- Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with small business or agency clients
• Knowledge of paid advertising platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads)
• Basic copywriting skills for ad text overlays
• Understanding of Australian business culture and market preferences
• Familiarity with conversion rate optimization principles
