Job Summary:
IT Technical Support is responsible in the day-to-day support of IT-related
systems, hardware, software, network, databases & systems to ensure that the
company's IT needs are consistently running in an efficient manner
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor, maintain and improve security of network infrastructure by ensuring computer networks operate efficiently and meet business requirements
Day to day troubleshooting, maintenance and monitoring of all facets in information technology, network and connectivity infrastructure such as WIFI installation and configuration, Inventory of Hardware, Database maintenance.
Maintains computer units and other technology equipment by preparing service reports and coordinating on parts or items to resolve or repair/replacement required and proceed with sourcing of computer related products, services and equipment.
Accountable for the physical network infrastructure, cables, switches, routers, computer, servers and ensure safekeeping of anti – virus software licenses, firewall license, windows OS licenses, MS Office licenses, and all other software licenses and paraphernalia
Evaluates and recommends upgrade of hardware or software to support the changing needs of the company
Assists in the maintenance of all computer related inventory through developing and maintaining an asset inventory of such items
Performs and schedules preventive maintenance and maintain / update the consolidated preventive maintenance report
Maintain a complete, accurate, and up-to-date inventory of all IT assets.
Conduct regular physical audits (monthly/quarterly/semi-annual) to ensure alignment of system records with actual equipment.
Monitors fixed asset movements by proper inventory, tagging, transfer, storage and disposal to ensure security of items and accuracy of records
Coordination with third party vendors/suppliers of computer/internet connectivity related services
Performs other administrative tasks like ID creation, computer workstation set-up, etc.
Requirements:
● Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or any related course
● At least five (5) years relevant working experience as IT Hardware/Technical Support
● Background and knowledge on basic Networking Administration
● Familiarity with software & hardware interfaces and ability to update technical knowledge and skills
● Flexible, team player, enthusiastic and has initiative
● Goal-oriented, can work with minimal supervision and keen to deadlines
● Amenable to work in Mandaluyong and can start ASAP
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php38, Php50,000.00 per month
