Area Supervisor

Qualifications:

· Graduate of any 4 year course

· With at least 3 years of work related experience in the same capacity from the same industry fast food chain, or casual/fine dining restaurant

· Can handle multiple store locations

· With above average communication skills

· Very keen to details

· Flexible, can work under pressure & longer hours

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Involved in acquisition and development of new branches

· Continuously developing existing stores

· Involved in the setting of sales and financial targets

· Takes action to address underperforming stores

· Oversees each store location and monitoring and reporting on performance

· Comprehends interprets and analyses sales figures

· Ensuring presentation and compliance in stores are in accordance with the company standards

· Presides team meeting to discuss sales initiatives and strategies

· Implements a retail plan for the area in line with the company strategy

· Responsible for the brand marketing, media exposure and press releases in the respective area

· Acts as mediator in resolving customer's or supplier's concern and issues

· Manages direct reports

· Coaches, inspires and motivates staff to increase sales

· Decides which staff member will be promoted

· Identifying and delivering all relevant / appropriate opportunities to address current situation

Skills:

· Can drive KPI's and sales in order to achieve sales target

· Has the ability to ensure continuous improvement of customer service standards across the area

· Manages under performing team leaders and employees

· Leads retail teams at disparate locations

· Targets and develops specific markets

· Has the ability to creatively solve issues, concerns and problems

· Has an extensive knowledge in health and safety, environmental health and other legal compliance with various government agencies

· Confident and enthusiastic

· With exceptional communication skills

· With a very strong leadership and interpersonal influencing skills

· With a very high tolerance level and objective even under pressure

· Generally consistent and fair
