Your impactAt Jacobs, our Power Solutions team is geared towards providing a more integrated approach offering end-to-end service to support our clients in energy networks, thermal generation, renewable generation and storage solutions space. We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions from replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable energy to developing demand side management strategies. We are looking for Civil QAQC Superintendent to primarily work on-site during construction, representing Jacobs as the Engineer's Representative.

The role shall be the QC consultants' site representative and will be the primary contact for technical queries from multi-disciplinary construction contractors during project execution for our resource clients. Collaborating with Project Manager and Construction Managers, the focus of the role will be ensuring technical queries are resolved expediently so projects remain on time and meet quality and safety standards. Other Responsibilities IncludeLeveraging expertise in civil/structural disciplines.

Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Manage and approve installations at pre-approved witness and hold points. Working closely with Project Managers and Discipline Engineers to ensure construction contractors adhere to design requirements. Directing technical issues and queries to the relevant discipline engineer.

Successfully interfacing with Jacobs' virtual teaming groups. Attending to key client meetings to understand and develop relationships, aiming to become a trusted advisor in the sector. Meeting deliverables while effectively allocating time.

Facilitating the technical development of junior team members to meet market requirements. Performing and supervising inspections, tests, and evaluations of civil works, including foundations, structures, and site preparations. Documenting inspection and testing results, and preparing detailed reports.

Reviewing site documents such as technical design and related construction drawings. Here's what you'll needPreferably hold a Civil engineering qualification or any other related field. Preferable with Solar and/ or BESS construction experience. Minimum 5 years' experience in QC or QA roles, preferable in the renewable energy sector.

Demonstrated track record of successfully managing construction projects. Familiarity with international and local engineering and construction methods, applicable codes, and specifications related to Renewable Energy Sector. Strong communication skills.
