IT Security Head

The
IT Security Head
ensures the effective management and administration of the company's security infrastructure, protecting the computer networks, systems, and information assets in alignment with security standards. He/she is responsible for implementing and managing all defense-in-depth security applications and documenting any security incidents or breaches identified. In this role, the IT Security Head leads and oversees a team of IT Security Officers to maintain and enhance the company's overall security posture.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

IT Security Management

• Ensuring security updates are current across all systems
• Analyzing network systems and structures to ensure the most secure approach is being employed
• Ensuring security tools are running properly on company networks and devices
• Researching emerging threats and the safeguards that can provide protection
• Protecting the digital system of a company
• Developing systems for specialized security requirements based on specific company needs
• Optimizing systems to ensure the network is supportive and responsive
• Presenting findings, reports and solutions to upper management
• Studying devices and implementing the best security protocols for everything from cell phones to tablets to laptops
• Manages the IT Security Team - ensuring that all IT Security Officers are working at par with the expectation of their job and function
• Working hand in hand with CISO on Security matters and CTO/CIO for the implementation of such matters.

Qualification:

• Education.
  Graduate of BS Computer Science, BS Computer Engineering, IT, or any related
• Experience.
  Minimum of 10 yrs experience in IT Security as Team Lead and Manager. In depth understanding of perimeter security, network security, endpoint security, application security, data security, security incident, event management and disaster recovery. Ability to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them. With information security related certification is a plus, e.g. ITIL, GCP Security, CCSP
