Data Analytics and Reporting
- collect, aggregate and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insights into business performance
- use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks and profits of new business initiatives
- work with customers to gather specifications for data and report requirements
- collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and consistency
Data Product Development
- develop, design and test BI Reports and Dashboards based on user requirements (Qlik Sense tools)
- effectively translate end-user reporting requirements into functional design documents
- document requirements, processes, and solutions clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences
- development of operational reports and dashboards with a focus on business data insights
- maintain and Support Qlik Sense and Qlik Sense Cloud (SaaS)environment
- optimize data models and scripts for performance and scalability
- assist and support multiple product teams with Qlik reporting questions and issues
Data Visualization and Data Adoption
- produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement in current operations and display root cause analysis of problems
- transform raw data into meaningful visualizations using best practices in data storytelling and user experience
- provide training and support to end-users to maximize adoption and value of BI tools
Requirements:
- bachelor's degree in computer engineering or relevant course.
- five-plus years of experience in leading business analysis or process improvements through leveraging key business analysis techniques (SWOT, decision modelling, balanced scorecard, prototyping, etc.)
- experience in building and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels
- excellent communication, writing and project management skills with experience leveraging Agile methodologies and practices
- knowledge of and experience in writing basic to intermediate SQL queries
- exposure to and understanding of data warehousing, engineering and ETL methodologies advantageous
- experience in application designing, architecting, development and deployment using Qlik Sense. Must be efficient in front-end development and know visualization best practices
- hands-on experience in Qlik Sense development/ Power BI, dashboarding and data modelling and visualization techniques
- knowledge of Qlik Sense Cloud (SaaS)
- flexible and versatile to adapt to any new environment and work on any project
- goal-oriented team player with good requirement analysis, interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
