About the role

As a RAC Technician at the Holiday Plaza Hotel, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of the hotel's heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC-R) systems. This full-time position is based in Cebu, Central Visayas, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation and comfort of the hotel's facilities.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC-R systems, including cleaning, adjusting, and inspecting components
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC-R system issues, and carry out necessary repairs
  3. Install new HVAC-R equipment and systems as required
  4. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work
  5. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure HVAC-R systems are operating efficiently and effectively
  6. Comply with all relevant safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualification in HVAC-R, such as a trade certificate or diploma
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience as a RAC Technician, preferably in the hospitality or commercial/industrial sectors
  3. Strong technical skills and hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC-R systems
  4. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
  5. Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  6. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
  7. Strong communication and teamwork skills
