Job Title: Aircon Technician

Location: Metro Manila (Makati or Quezon City)

Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite

Salary Range: ₱15,000 – ₱20,000 per month (depending on experience)

Job Summary:

The Aircon Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and office settings. The role ensures that all units are operating efficiently and meet company safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, and maintain air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, leaks, and electrical issues.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance such as cleaning coils, filters, and checking refrigerant levels.
  • Repair or replace defective parts and components (compressors, fans, motors, thermostats, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards during installation and servicing.
  • Record and report completed work, materials used, and recommendations for improvements.
  • Respond to emergency repair calls as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with electricians and other technicians on multi-skilled projects.

Qualifications:

  • Vocational or TESDA certificate in Refrigeration and Airconditioning (RAC) or equivalent.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as an Aircon Technician.
  • Knowledge of various air conditioning systems (split type, window type, centralized units, etc.).
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Physically fit and willing to work onsite (Makati or Quezon City).
  • Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
