Job Description for Architect

Position: Architect

Location: Multiple Location

Reports to: Engineering Department Head

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

An architect designs buildings and structures, develops blueprints, and frequently supervises construction projects from start to finish. Client consultations, design development utilizing CAD software, coordination with engineers and contractors, budget and deadline management, and ensuring plans conform with building rules and laws are among the primary roles.

Key Responsibilities

1.    Design and Development:

○ An architect designs buildings and structures, creating plans, and often overseeing construction projects from conception to completion. Key responsibilities include client consultations, developing designs using CAD software, coordinating with engineers and contractors, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring plans comply with building codes and regulations.

2.    Project Management:

○ Manage all aspects of a project, including budgets, timelines, and team collaboration with engineers, contractors, and other construction professionals

3.    Technical drawings:

○ Use computer-aided design (CAD) software like AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed plans, specifications, and construction documents.

4.    Site visits:

○ Visit construction sites to supervise progress and ensure the project aligns with the design and client objectives.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree of Science (BS) in Architecture.

● Licensed Architect.

● At least two (2) years of experience in Architectural field.

● Strong project management and organizational abilities.

● Effective communication and teamwork skills.

● Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Work Environment

● Office, Construction site, Line Production, Cold Storage and Port

● May require travel to client sites or project locations.
