Bring Game Worlds to Life with Cutting-Edge HUD/UI Design

We're seeking a talented Game UI/UX Designer (HUD Specialist) to join our creative team working on game-based and interactive interfaces for a US-based gaming client. In this role, you'll design immersive and responsive heads-up displays (HUDs) and user interfaces across various game genres, from first-person shooters to mobile strategy games.

You'll work closely with our product and development teams to deliver pixel-perfect, developer-friendly Figma files that are ready for production.

What You'll Do

  • Design game-ready HUD/UI elements such as health bars, inventory menus, alerts, and currency displays
  • Ensure designs are responsive and optimized for both desktop and mobile gameplay
  • Build structured and developer-friendly Figma files using auto-layout, components, and variants
  • Collaborate with product managers to iterate based on wireframes and feedback
  • Maintain consistency through style guides and UI systems

What We're Looking For

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience designing HUD/UI for video games — must include portfolio or sample work
  • Expert in Figma, particularly with auto-layout, component structuring, and responsive design
  • Strong attention to visual hierarchy, usability, and clarity in dynamic UI settings
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable working with US-based teams
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver on agreed milestones

Nice to Have (Bonus Points):

  • Familiarity with iGaming or online gaming UI/UX concepts, especially currency-based interfaces
  • Knowledge of motion/animation concepts for HUD elements and interactions
  • Experience designing for multi-platform or cross-genre game environments
