What You'll Do
  • Build, optimize, and maintain Shopify stores for performance and conversion.
  • Develop custom themes and features using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Work with Shopify APIs and create or enhance custom apps.
  • Audit and improve page load speed using PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or Lighthouse.
  • Debug and troubleshoot Shopify themes or app issues.
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and developers to deliver cohesive brand experiences.
  • Manage multiple projects, stay organized, and communicate clearly on Zoom and project tools.

What We're Looking For (Non-Negotiables)
  • 3+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
  • Strong command of Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with Shopify Plus and custom app development.
  • Portfolio or links to Shopify stores you've built or optimized.
  • Proven ability to optimize site speed and handle Shopify's core web vitals.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Reliable internet connection (minimum 120 Mbps).
  • Based in the Philippines.
  • Full-time availability during Australian business hours.

Nice to Have
  • Experience working with Australian clients or agencies.
  • Familiarity with the Ella theme or other performance-oriented Shopify themes.
  • Track record of collaboration with cross-functional teams.
