Job Description:

The Mechanic In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and monitoring of all company equipment and machinery across various project sites. This role ensures that all machines are in optimal condition, properly documented, and repaired on time to avoid delays in operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complete documentation and records of all equipment and machinery at every site.
  • Record all repairs, replacements, and equipment status updates regularly.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and assess the condition of machines and tools.
  • Monitor and track all defective or malfunctioning machines and ensure timely repair.
  • Coordinate with assigned personnel or contractors responsible for equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Maintain records of purchase requests, equipment requisitions, and spare parts inventory.
  • Prepare and process requests for tools, parts, and other materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed and documented.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for machinery and equipment issues on-site.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance procedures.
  • Submit regular reports on equipment status, maintenance activities, and cost summaries.
  • Recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance equipment performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Mechanical Technology, Automotive, or related field (preferred but not required)
  • Proven experience as a Mechanic or Maintenance
  • Strong knowledge in heavy equipment and machinery maintenance
  • Good organizational and reporting skills
  • Willing to travel to different project sites

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php22,000.00 per month
