The Project Engineer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating engineering and technical aspects of furniture projects, ensuring smooth execution from design to production and installation. This role bridges communication between design, production, suppliers, and clients to guarantee that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor furniture project activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, schedules, and client requirements.
  • Review technical drawings, material specifications, and production plans to support project execution.
  • Assist in resource planning, cost estimation, and project scheduling.
  • Communicate and collaborate with design teams, engineers, suppliers, and production staff.
  • Track project progress, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and status updates.
  • Ensure adherence to company quality standards, safety protocols, and client expectations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during project execution and installation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • Experience in project coordination, preferably in the furniture or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and engineering processes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Project, or similar software is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
