We are looking for an Ambitious Young Professional to join our team to do US Tax Preparation and Accounting. This role provides an excellent opportunity for career growth within the company, working closely with senior accounting staff and clients.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join a US-based accounting firm. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in preparing both personal and corporate tax returns, with hands-on experience using US tax preparation software. Familiarity with Intuit ProConnect Software is a big plus. This is a full-time, fully in-person position that requires working US business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file accurate and timely personal and corporate tax returns
  • Review financial records, statements, and documentation
  • Organize and maintain client tax information in an efficient and confidential manner
  • Utilize tax preparation software to complete returns (Intuit ProConnect experience strongly preferred)
  • Communicate with clients and the accounting team to gather missing information and resolve discrepancies
  • Stay up to date with changes in US tax laws and regulations
  • Assist with tax planning strategies and provide support during audits as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • CPA or CTT certification highly preferred
  • Proven experience preparing both personal and corporate tax returns in the US
  • Proficiency in US tax preparation software; Intuit ProConnect Software experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of US federal and state tax laws and filing requirements
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Must be able to work US business hours (night shift PH time)
  • 100% In-Person
