We are structured in the country as an umbrella company of a number of brands or business units such as UM (media agency), Initiative (media agency), Magna, Orion, MediaBrands Content Studio (MBCS) plus our now affiliates Kinesso, Reprise (performance marketing) and Matterkind (programmatic / addressable media) which unified into one business unit still called Kinesso that incorporated its own company in 2021 to form

THE MEDIA BUYER ROLE
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares detailed media plans consistent with approved buying parameters/guidelines specifically on: Target Audience, Communication goals, Buying strategies, timing & Scheduling, geographic considerations, Budget
- Presents and rationalizes detailed media plans and post-buy reports to client
- Handles negotiation of packages, creative execution with media vendors to get the most efficient package media buy
- Coordinates with media vendors, creative agency and/or clients on material requirements for executions and media values
- Generates consistent and accurate support documents (i.e. shopping list, pre Reach and Frequency runs, programming updates, digital metrics, etc.) needed to rationalize plan recommendation
- Implementation of plans and monitoring of the performance of offline advertising campaigns (TV, Radio, etc.)
- Prepares and rationalizes post buy reports based on implementation versus the approved media plans and communication goals
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, advertising platforms and media vendors
- Assists in the preparation of the MOS, proto-type plans, recommendation of daypart splits and CTARP
- Prepares the following reports: CE tracker, CE closing report/actual expenditure report
- Provides team and client with updates on new media, including all relevant changes
- Attends client briefing of campaigns, brainstorming with the planning team to checking feasibilities and costs with networks
- Work collaboratively with planners and/or agency/client planning personnel
- Keep current with media trade press articles
- Develop and maintain Network relationships
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Advertising Arts, Communication Arts, Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Has at least 1 to 2 years of media experience; Network preferred. Eager fresh graduates are also welcome.
- Preferably with experience in traditional or offline media buying
- Has the ability to perform financial operations in the media business
- Must have excellent written & verbal communication skills and is able to negotiate with partners effectively
- Experience in Nielsen's Arianna analysis software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Proven problem solving ability
- Ability to be a team player
