Key Responsibilities:

  1. Domino Server Tasks

  2. Perform daily system and server health checks.

  3. Review status and CPU utilization of critical tasks (e.g., Agent Manager, Admin Process, Database, Server, Indexer).

  4. Conduct weekly health validations following automated reboots.

  5. Domino Server Maintenance

  6. Troubleshoot and resolve mail routing issues.

  7. Verify replication processes and monitor server events.
  8. Investigate and clear dead mail from routing queues.
  9. Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements.
  10. Maintain and update critical system databases.
  11. Confirm backups are completed as scheduled.
  12. Monitor transaction logs and ensure they remain within defined limits.
  13. Perform server upgrades and deploy fix packs.

  14. Troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate with IBM/HCL support for PMRs.

  15. ID Expiration & Re-Certification

  16. Monitor ID file validity and perform periodic re-certification prior to expiration.

  17. Domain Catalogue Management

  18. Maintain the list of active databases.

  19. Monitor Access Control Lists (ACLs) for critical databases to ensure proper access and security.

  20. Disaster Recovery Services

  21. Participate in all phases of DR exercises, including pre-isolation, validation, and reintegration.

  22. Application-Specific Support

  23. Deploy application code to production environments.

  24. Monitor or terminate agents exceeding performance thresholds.
  25. Create CTCW client databases and replicas (Production & Non-Production).
  26. Create and manage Domino groups (Production & Non-Production).
  27. Register users in Non-Production directories.
  28. Handle "Break the Glass" requests for Production access.
  29. Perform server reboots in Development and QA environments.
  30. Attend critical incident (crit-sit) calls and assist in resolving production issues.
  31. Provide additional administrative support as required.

Required Skills

  • Must have: Strong experience in HCL Domino Administration.
  • Good to have: Familiarity with related IBM/HCL tools and enterprise support environments.
