About the Role

We are looking for an IoT/STEM Engineer (Associate) to join our engineering team. This role focuses on hands-on assembly, programming, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of IoT and STEM systems. You will work closely with our Lead Engineer to bring projects from concept to deployment and ensure high-quality support for both our education and industry clients.

This position is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of experience in electronics/IoT who loves to build, test, and solve problems in real-world applications.

Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in electronics, IoT, embedded systems, or related fields.
  • Good knowledge of any of the following: Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, or sensors/actuators integration (hardware + firmware).
  • Hands-on experience in electronics assembly, soldering, wiring, and testing.
  • Basic programming (Arduino IDE, C/C++, Python) knowledge. Programming experience in deployed projects is a plus.
  • Familiarity with wireless comms (WiFi, BLE, LoRaWAN, MQTT, RFID, etc.) is a plus.
  • Comfortable creating documentation, photos, and short demo videos for technical projects.
  • Team player with willingness to support training and technical needs of clients.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assembly & Testing

  2. Assemble and configure IoT/automation devices, STEM kits, and DIY modules.

  3. Perform unit and system-level testing, verification, and debugging.
  4. Conduct field deployment testing as needed.

2.Troubleshooting & Support

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by Store customers.
  • Provide primary-level technical support to clients and escalate to Lead Engineer if needed.

  • Assist trainees and help train customers on kit usage or product setup.

  • Project Integrations

  • Collaborate with the Lead Engineer and R&D team for pilot hardware and software development.

  • Support the configuration, setup, and testing of IoT sensors, gateways, and dashboards.
  • Implement updates and improvements for existing IoT/STEM systems.

  • Assist Sales/Admin team with technical queries about products.

  • Documentation & Content

  • Create and maintain technical documentation (user guides, wiring diagrams, internal manuals)

  • Document marketing-ready content (product photos, demo videos, blog post)
