Staff Engineer, Product Engineering (Prod Dev)

Job Responsibilities

• Technical lead in the product development of healthcare systems and modules.
• Develops effective and efficient solutions for product evaluations, characterization, qualifications and failure analysis.
• Develops engineering capabilities to accelerate product development. Identifies opportunity for improvements in the development process and product life ownership.
• Works in identifying customer requirement, product definition and product development.
• Works in establishment of Non-Recurring Engineering costs, development costs, resourcing and schedule.
• Works in the creation of test and measurement strategy and execution.
• Works in product qualifications and customer return resolutions.
• Collaborates with the team on growth mindset and a culture that fosters accountability, recognition, open communication and belonging.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong leadership and mentorship skills. Has strong networking, collaboration, communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledgeable and with deep understanding in the electronics or semiconductor business structure, operations and market interaction.
• Able to see the big picture and develop strategies to achieve business goals. Understands financial statements, budgets and key financial metrics.
• Identifies potential risks and opportunities in a business situation. Makes informed and timely decisions based on available information.
• Identifies and solves problems that arise in a business context. Able to adjust and pivot to charging circumstances and new information.
• Proficient in using various bench equipment such as oscilloscope, programmable source and measurement units, digital multimeter, etc.
• Proficient with Cadence Allegro schematic and layout tool for hardware development.
• Proficient in different program languages such as Visual Basic, LabVIEW, and Python. Knowledgeable in simulations such as LTSpice, Octave/Matlab.
• FPGA reference design experience is a plus

Education And Experience

• Graduate of bachelor's degree in ECE, EE or equivalent degree. Master of Engineering or Master of Science in Engineering is an advantage.
• With 8+ years of work experience (or 6+ with a Masters or equivalent) in the electronics or semiconductor industry preferably in Product Development.
