About the Role

We're looking for a
Batch Scheduler
with experience in
Rocket Software tools (Zeke, Zena)
to support a leading global bank's operations in Manila. The role involves
Level 2 functional support
, managing batch scheduling activities, and ensuring smooth production workflows.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize job scheduling, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high service standards (100% SLA achievement).

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform
    batch scheduling tasks
    — create, modify, or delete jobs/applications, update calendars, and run cycles.
  • Provide
    L2 production support
    using Rocket Software scheduling tools.
  • Analyze and resolve
    production batch issues
    in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Maintain
    housekeeping jobs
    and ensure system stability.
  • Manage
    FTP/SCP file transfers
    and control utilities.
  • Support installation, configuration, and monitoring of scheduling agents.
  • Deliver consistent results with strong adherence to SLAs and operational standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have:

  • Hands-on experience with
    Rocket Software scheduling tools (Zeke, Zena)
  • Strong understanding of
    batch management and job scheduling
  • Experience in
    Banking or Financial Services domain

Good-to-Have:

  • Knowledge of
    Rocket Software architecture
    and utilities
  • Experience with
    XML extracts, LDAP/SNOW integration
    , and
    auto-handling
  • Familiarity with
    trend analysis, CMDB, and documentation management
  • Willingness to join
    on-call rotation
    for 24/7 production support
