About The Team & Business Line

As a core member of our Innovation Development team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.

Responsibilities
Your Role:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks Delta Lake and Apache Spark

Implement data workflows using Databricks notebooks and jobs

Create and optimize data models for both batch and streaming data processing

Develop and maintain data quality frameworks and monitoring systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions

Write efficient SQL queries and optimize performance of existing queries

Implement data security and governance practices

Build and maintain documentation for data processes and architectures i.e medallion architecture

Explore and apply new and upcoming features of the Databricks or other tools

Qualifications
About You:
Experience And Technical Skills
1 – 2 years of specialized hands-on experience in DataBricks.

In-depth knowledge of SQL, Python, PySpark, and/or Scala, preferrable within the Databricks environment.

Experience in using AWS (AWS Glue, S3, Lambda)

Experience In Using Databricks Required.
Strong expertise integrating Databricks with AWS data storage and services like S3, Athena, and Glue.

Demonstrable experience and skills in real-time and batch data processing using Databricks with problem-solving Databricks challenges preferrable

Experience with PL/SQL programming, creating SQL scripts and writing stored procedures

Ability to work in a fast paced, complex IT environment

Excellent Oral And Written Communications Skills Required
Strong project and time management skills with an ability to set and maintain priorities

Strong analytic, problem solving, business judgment and organization skills required

Knowledgeable in BI Tools such as Power BI and/or QLIK

Education

Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience

Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and training

Desired Skills And Expertise
Databricks Data Science/Engineer certifications

PowerBI, Predictive Analytics, AI/ML, Medallion architecture
