The Guidance and Counseling Coordinator leads student support services, overseeing counseling programs, mental health initiatives, and budget management. This role aligns guidance services with institutional goals, ensures policy compliance, and enhances student development and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Develop and implement student-focused counseling and wellness programs.
  • Maintain confidential records and uphold ethical standards.
  • Create and monitor the office's budget.
  • Prepare financial reports and recommend cost-efficient strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to mental health and institutional policies.
  • Manage documentation and implement preventive risk measures.
  • Use digital tools for documentation and tracking.
  • Propose enhancements for service delivery.
  • Work with faculty, health services, and external partners.
  • Promote awareness and communication of counseling services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, or a related field (required)
  • Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling
  • PRC License as a Registered Guidance Counselor
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic, patient, and well-organized
