Basic Function:

The Guidance Counselor helps in the development of the students' psychological well-being.

Major Responsibility:

  • Develops the guidance and counseling program
  • Interviews, counsels and assists students in finding ways of clarifying and supervising their queries and difficulties
  • Maintains a systematic data bank of relevant information about counselees
  • Conducts group guidance sessions, orientation activities, trainings and seminars
  • Helps the psychometrician administer, process and evaluate the College Entrance exam, psychological and other standardized test to individuals or group of students.
  • Explains psychological test results to students, teachers, parents and/or may authorized persons, either in group or individually
  • Ensures the confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Submits required reports
  • Makes referrals to specialist those cases which are beyond his capacity to handle
  • Updates himself with the latest trends and researches in the field of psychology guidance and counseling

Qualifications:

Preferably with license (Registered Guidance Counselor) RGC

with good communication skills

Amenable to work in Biñan Laguna
