Job Summary

The Maintenance Personnel is responsible for a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of store branches and Head Office facilities. The role includes attending to work order requests, supporting store setup and closure, and performing general carpentry, plumbing, painting, and related maintenance duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to Work Order Requests (WOR) from store branches and the Head Office in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support store ingress (setup) activities, including installation, adjustments, and other necessary preparations.
  • Assist in store egress (closure) activities, ensuring proper dismantling and safekeeping of items.
  • Perform carpentry and general repair works, including the installation and maintenance of cabinets, doors, beds, and accessories (e.g., locksets, door tracks, stoppers).
  • Repair minor plumbing issues such as leaking bidets, faucets, and similar fixtures.
  • Replace or repair broken tiles to maintain safety and aesthetics.
  • Conduct minor repainting jobs to preserve appearance and protect surfaces.
  • Carry out other related tasks as may be assigned by the Department Manager or President.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or technical/vocational certificate in a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in general maintenance, carpentry, and minor plumbing
  • Basic knowledge of painting and tile work
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel to various store branches as needed
  • Willingness to work night shifts

Working Conditions

  • May require occasional overtime and weekend work
  • Physical activities include lifting, climbing ladders, and using tools
  • Work is performed on-site across different branches and the Head Office
